Acknowledgments
I credit "The 3 Swift Sisters", a.k.a. my mother, my Aunt Joney,
and Aunt Madeleine, for hanging beautiful black & white photos
on their walls, many taken by them. For always pointing out to
me the quality of light at different times of day, for
encouraging me to have my camera with me at all times, and for
celebrating the beauty of a dirt-covered child, lost in his or
her imaginary world.
A big thanks to my husband and three beautiful children who take my breath away, and ignited this passion of mine. Lastly, my friend and mentor, Gifford Ewing, I am forever grateful to you for guiding me artistically and in business. In a world where traditional black & white photography is becoming more and more esoteric, his respect and appreciation for film has helped me to stay true to the process.
